Non-Surgical Treatment for
Degenerative Disc Disease
Available in Fort Worth and Granbury, Texas
Chronic low back pain caused by degenerative disc disease (DDD) can significantly affect your quality of life. If worn or dehydrated spinal discs are the source of your pain, VIA Disc® NP offers a minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment option designed to supplement damaged disc tissue and restore cushioning function.
At Valor Interventional Pain, our board-certified pain specialists use advanced interventional techniques to diagnose and treat discogenic low back pain with precision and care.
What Is the VIA Disc NP Procedure?
VIA Disc NP is a minimally invasive, outpatient procedure designed to treat discogenic low back pain caused by degenerative disc disease.
The treatment uses a processed nucleus pulposus (NP) allograft—tissue derived from donated human disc material—to supplement tissue loss inside a damaged intervertebral disc. The nucleus pulposus is the gel-like center of a healthy disc responsible for absorbing shock and maintaining flexibility.
Over time, discs lose hydration and structural integrity. VIA Disc NP is injected directly into the affected disc to help restore cushioning properties and improve biomechanical function.
